About the Artist

A little about me:
Growing up in a challenging family environment, I found my sanctuary in solitude—daydreaming, drawing, reading, and caring deeply for the animals around me, including my unforgettable pet crocodile. Self-taught in the beginning, my creative spirit was nurtured by the beauty of the Australian bush and the gentle strength of horses and other animal companions who became my greatest sources of inspiration. My personal journey of resilience and discovery led me to formal studies at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, where I deepened my craft and embraced the profound connection between art and healing. Today, I blend my passions as an artist and healer, sharing a unique gift that weaves creative expression with spiritual coaching, energy healing, and intuitive guidance—inviting you to join me in a transformative journey where art becomes a sacred path to wholeness and renewal.

Deborah Robbs — Artist
For as long as I can remember, I have been driven by a deep desire to create horses that feel alive—works that seem to step off the canvas and meet you. Art has been a quiet and constant companion throughout my life, a dream I carried with me through years of uncertainty and unexpected turns.
My inspiration is rooted in a lifelong love of horses, shaped by my childhood in the Australian bush and enriched by time spent in Papua New Guinea in the 1970s. Countless days riding, working with animals, and being immersed in the land have left a lasting imprint on both my life and my work.
Through bold colour and rich texture, I seek to capture not only the physical presence of the horse, but its spirit—its strength, sensitivity, and quiet intelligence. Each piece reflects the profound connection between horse and human, honouring the emotional bond that exists between them.
There is something deeply evocative about the way a horse carries the essence of the landscape—whether it is the untamed energy of the bush, or the soft glow of sunrise and sunset across a billabong or the ocean. I am continually inspired by the way light, land, and animal seem to merge into one living presence.
Through my art, I hope to evoke a sense of freedom, memory, and connection—to bring you back to the feeling of warm late afternoon light, the scent of eucalyptus in the air, and the quiet vitality of the natural world. These are the moments that shaped me, and they live within every painting I create.
With every brushstroke, I honour not only the horse, but the land and lived experiences that have guided my journey. It is a privilege to share these stories—woven through place, spirit, and memory—with those who connect with my work.
